New Land

We Left Montana today for North Dakota, but first we had to go through Glacier National Park.

Wow! It had been 6 years since I had first layed my eyes upon this beautifully amazing place. It is just as awesome as I remember. There were times we just had to pull over and look around a bit. As we came off the mountains and entered North Dakota, the land changed so quickly. It went from Mountains and Glaciers to Prairies and cows. North Dakota was very good to us. The weather was very nice, but it was the people that made the state. They are some of the most genuinely nice people I have ever met. Every one waves hi as they walk by. People actually say hi to you when you say hi to them. Very different from Los Angeles. With all of the very nice people we met, the highlight has to be the legendary Del Hofer. He is a man who has been riding

Harleys all his life. He has owned a Harley dealership for many decades, but all of that is not what makes him so special. It is the man he is. So captivating with his stories. So Genuine with his passion. So infectuous with his honesty and positive attitude. If you don't feel better for having met Del Hofer, you got some fix'n to do. He is one of the great people in this world that inspires others to be great. They say the truly great make other great. Del Hofer is that man.
