Riding in the Rain

We started the day in Sunny Coulee Dam. It was so warm and the skies were blue. We left the canyons and entered into Eastern Washington state. As we road through the two lane highway towards the Idaho boarder, we could see endless miles of wheat fields. They really did not look like any wheat fields I had seen before. They looked like golden velvet blankets placed upon the land. It was awesome. That beauty did not last long. We soon found ourselves approaching a nasty storm that would be our riding partner for the rest of the day. The wind pushed up around like pinballs on the road. We all made it in safe though. We are now leaving Whitefish, MT. and heading up the "Sun Road" though Glacier National Park. The Storm that soaked us yesterday is now to the east. I hope we do not ketch up to it. It looks to be another gorgeous day of riding. It is like every day you are blown away by the scenery again and again.
